Greetings from Dark Star,
I am in the midst of BIG changes at Dark Star. I've come to the realization that I am no longer able to operate Dark Star at the current size that it has grown to in the downtown location. So I am going back to basics and DOWNSIZING! Dark Star will be in the original room only, with the main focus on beads, jewelry and custom design work.

The big liquidation sale will run June 12th-14th. The sale will focus on clothing and gift items. The new line of spring clothing is in... it looks fresh and right in line with all of the latest trends. Come by and check out the fashion for spring and summer during our inventory reduction.

Clothing racks, giftware racks and small display racks will also be for sale at the end of the weekend. A friend will be taking over the lower portion of the store to launch her new business. I will let you know more when the cat is out of the bag.

The new store hours are 11:00-7:00 Tuesday through Thursday. 9:00-5:00 Friday and Saturday. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

It's the perfect time of year to schedule a ladies night to catch up with your friends while designing some custom jewelry. Just call ahead to schedule your daytime or evening event. Refreshments are welcome.

With summer just around the corner, some of you are planning your weddings. At Dark Star you can design your wedding jewelry for the entire party including the mothers. It gives the added touch of a one of a kind special gift. We also offer the shop for after hours bride to be parties or your bachelorette party for an added touch of class. Because everyone will need something new to wear at your wedding!

With the lack of interest in the scheduled classes, I am offering an alternative to those of you interested in taking a class. If you have at least four people to agree to and pre-pay for class, I will schedule private classes at your convenience.

Don't forget you can come in from 11:00-7:00 Tuesday thru Thursday, 9:00-5:00 Friday and Saturday during non-class time and receive design instruction for a $6.00 studio fee. Bring a picture or idea of what you would like to design and we are there for you.

For those who have taken the introduction to PMC, you are welcome to come into the bead room anytime for a $6.00 studio fee plus the cost of PMC to work on projects. KILN TIME IS $10:00 PER FIRING. Read more about PMC on the DSVboutique.com home page.
